Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and complete preventive maintenance tasks to the approved schedule.
• Diagnose mechanical and, where qualified and authorised, electrical faults using appropriate tools and documentation.
• Isolate equipment and follow lockout procedures before maintenance; escalate work outside your competence.
• Record faults, work completed, spare parts used and equipment condition in maintenance records.
• Coordinate safe equipment testing and handover after repairs.
• Monitor commonly used spares and communicate replenishment needs.
• Support root-cause reviews and propose practical reliability improvements.

What you bring

• Relevant technical or trade training in mechanical maintenance, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Practical fault-finding skills and ability to interpret relevant technical instructions or drawings.
• Understanding of equipment isolation, tool safety and maintenance documentation.
• Clear communication with operators and an organised approach to prioritising work.
• Describe the machinery and maintenance tasks you have personally worked on.
• List relevant certifications and their scope; specialist work must remain within your qualifications and authorisation.
