Engineering Intern — Information Technology
Build practical IT support experience while helping maintain dependable workplace technology. Work on supervised troubleshooting, documentation and small improvement tasks with appropriate access controls.
Responsibilities
• Help record and triage user support requests and document resolutions.
• Assist with approved workstation setup, software configuration and device inventories.
• Support basic network and connectivity troubleshooting under supervision.
• Document recurring issues and prepare clear user guidance.
• Assist with approved update, backup-check and security-awareness tasks.
• Test small scripts or application improvements in an authorised test environment before review.
What you bring
• Studying or recently completed a qualification in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, networks and troubleshooting.
• Careful handling of passwords, personal information and business data.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Relevant coursework, personal projects or support experience are welcome; describe your contribution.
• State your availability and learning interests. Production access and changes require supervision and authorisation.
